Lesson Learned

So last night I had to spend time at the Vet because Dixie decided to eat a pencil. She nearly gave me a heart attack. I was happy to learn when I initially callled poison control for pets that pencil makers no longer make them with led but with graphite.

All I have to do is give her tons of whole wheat bread to help her pass the graphite and wood chips. NICE.

Maybe I should try to get her on The Dog Whisperer--she'll eat anything and there's only so much a girl can sweep every day to make sure there's nothing lying around.
